Evolutionary Loop 517
2013
AZAM’s six metre bronze sculpture “Evolutionary Loop 517” was commissioned by the University of Aberdeen and is permanently displayed outside the Sir Duncan Rice Library. The work was a collaboration with the Danish library design architects, schmidt hammer lassen.
The library was officially opened in September 2012 by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh, and the sculpture soon became a defining landmark for the university campus.
